How many vehicles are available, and where?
We maintain a stock of refurbished vehicles with the most common specifications for quick availability in Norway and the UK.
If you have specific needs, you can also configure your own vehicle from scratch, just like ordering a new one.
Which models are available?
2ndDrive machines are currently exclusive to the eCompact series. Anticipated availability for the eStretch series is expected by 2026. You can read more about the eCompact-series here.
The current eCompact platform generation available is Gen 2.0. See more information under “How does a refurbished vehicle compare to a new”.
What is the delivery time?
For UK customers, the delivery process mirrors that of new vehicles. This includes import, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), and registration, managed by our local distributor and appointed dealerships. Delivery time typically ranges from 4-6 weeks, depending on stock and specifications.
How does a refurbished vehicle compare to a new?
In 2020, the eCompact platform underwent a significant upgrade from Gen 2.0 to Gen 2.2.
Gen 2.2. vehicles availability as refurbished units are not expected before 2026. Untill then, Gen 2.0. vehicles are available.
During refurbishment, we enhance vehicles to exceed their original technology and standards, but there are still key differences between Gen 2.0. and Gen 2.2.

- Higher Top Speed and Increased Payload: Available in 37mph. Gen 2.0. only available in 28mph. Increased payload from 200 to 240kg.

How is the warranty on refurbished vehicles?
We offer robust warranties for our refurbished 2ndDrive vehicles:
- Private Warranty: 2 years
- Commercial Warranty: 1 year
- Private Lithium Battery Warranty: 3 years
- Commercial Lithium Battery Warranty: 1 year

Can I test a refurbished vehicle?
We recommend scheduling a trial and specifying that you want to trial a used vehicle. All refurbished vehicles meet the same high standards. If you like the vehicle, the local dealership will handle the sales process, financing, and other details.

How it works
Selection
We start by selecting the best pre-owned vehicles from our fleet, usually between 4-6 years of age.
Inspection
Each vehicle undergoes a detailed 100-point inspection to identify any issues. As a rule, all safety related wear parts are replaced with genuine components.
Refurbishment
Our skilled technicians refurbish each vehicle using genuine parts and industry-leading techniques. The entire vehicle is dismantled, and each component is inspected, refurbished and/or replaced. We even re-paint the chassis.
Final inspections
After refurbishment, vehicles are tested to ensure they meet our strict standards.
Certification
Once a vehicle passes all tests, it is certified as a 2ndDrive approved vehicle and made available for purchase. All vehicles are sold with a battery state-of-health certificate as well.
